Dr. Hamed has more than nine years of medical experience in Pediatrics.
Dr. Hamed obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dubai Medical College for Girls, UAE. She later achieved the Arab Board Certificate in Pediatrics from the Arab Board of Health Specializations, Jordan.
Dr. Hamed has demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to pediatric care and education throughout her career. She previously held the position of Chief and Representative of Pediatric Graduates at Tawam Hospital, where she coordinated and advocated for graduate training activities. She also served as a member of the Morbidity and Mortality Committee, contributing to the continuous review and improvement of clinical care practices, and actively participated in the Child Safety Campaign to enhance pediatric patient safety. Dr. Hamed holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and Basic Life Support. In addition, she has been actively involved in teaching and supervising residents and medical students, contributed to quality improvement initiatives within the Pediatric Emergency Department, and received a “Well Done” recognition from the hospital in 2025 for her contributions.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Hamed worked as a Specialist Physician in Pediatrics at SEHA Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Hamed’s scope of practice includes pediatric emergency medicine and general pediatrics.
Pediatric emergency care, general pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, comprehensive patient assessment and management in acute care settings, teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, and quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
